On the 5th of September 2012 REVES Network organised in Brussels a seminar about precarious employment. Two representatives of Barka Network: Ewa Sadowska ( Barka UK) and Magdalena Chwarscianek ( Barka NL) took part in that meeting. The seminar presented the “Right(s) now” project that had been carried out by REVES and the findings about the precarious employment and its impact on societies. Among the impact of precarious work the following were mentioned: societies getting used to precarious way of employing and taking it as ‘better any work than none’, decreasing solidarity, increasing risk of social tensions, loss of values, incapacity to plan the future etc.
